BIO 

Tanja lived and studied in  different places all over the world and completed her education in photography in 2014 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Travelling a lot and doing social photography projects, she experiences a big contrast between the world seen from above and the world when you are in the middle of it. She feels the need to show everyone the indescribable beauty from our earth.

As an aerial photographer, she turns different landscapes into abstract artworks through a graphic approach of reality.

For her, this abstractness and unrecognisability is crucial in a world full of continuous pre-chewed information. She wants the viewer to use his own imagination to interpret her images and to give his own meaning to it. At the same time, she shares the world with us in a way we can not experience ourselves with the intention of expanding our minds. Or as Schopenhauer says: "Everyone takes the limits of his own vision for the limits of the world.
